Inspiration for this collection -- The booming yet synchronous serenade of bullfrogs. The masterful symphonic scores played by crickets. My dad tucking me in and the smell of fresh saw dust still on his clothes after hours spent working on whatever project he had that day. As I drifted off to sleep in that old yellow house, I had no cares, no fears, just the reassurance that I was safe. Those summer nights on Spring Creek left a forever imprint on my soul, and my heart often aches for the simplicity of life I once knew. - Laura Rhinehart
